A healed Sephiroth and Aerith have a conversation in the afterlife, and Aerith forgives him. His spirit somehow grants her a new chance, and, after Sephiroth fades, Aerith thinks about Cloud and he hears her spirit calling him and starts to try to find her. Her spirit and body reappears and they have a romantic reunion (mild M!).
