The middle of a Journey

I've held onto these for a long time, but I have too many doujinshi so I have finally decided to part with them. These are very rare Megumi x Kenshin doujinshi, where he chose Megumi to fall in love with instead of Kaoru. Kenshin (age 28) falls in love with Megumi because she (at age 22) could understand some of the trauma he'd been through because she had been through a lot herself. He treats Saosuke, Kaoru, and Yahiko like his family. The art is AMAZING, just like the manga. Plenty of romance (including a kiss). I love this pairing and can't emphasize enough how it makes sense in the way the authors have reframed the story so the true love pairing is Megumi x Kenshin instead. Highly recommended!
